       Travel Insurance

You are covered up to 60 days to $5 million, up to age 70 for you and your  eligible spouse and therefore do not require any additional coverage for treatment related to medical emergencies. Also the travel booklet highlights other coverage that includes such items as repatriation up to $15,000, ground ambulance services up to $5000 and emergency air transportation up to $500,000. There is a trip interruption benefit (if departure delayed for at least 12 hours due to a sickness or hospitalization). These can be found in the resource section under app or online claims platform.  This is a great policy. Please read to familiarize yourself.

If you purchase your trip with a credit card, the credit card may include some of the other items (i.e. lost bag, bag delay, trip cancellation, etc.) listed below that are not common under a group travel medical emergency plan.  The airline or travel agent may also offer these as an add on to your flight cost, that you must decide whether the additional fee is worth it.  Look at the fine print. You could also inquire with Medi-quote for a costing of these add-ons.
